Health and Safety

With the ever increasing focus on employer's moral and legal responsibilities to protect its workforce, we believe that the use of professional animal handlers is key in meeting those challenges, given the area of work being undertaken. This is clearly highlighted in the following extract from the Health and Safety Executive's (HSE's) Enforcement Policy Statement – February 2009

'The Health and Safety Executive's (HSE's) aims are to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work, and to safeguard others, mainly members of the public, who may be exposed to risks from the way work is carried out.'

'The appropriate use of enforcement powers, including prosecution, is important, both to secure compliance with the law and to ensure that those who have duties under it may be held to account for failures to safeguard health, safety and welfare'.

We believe that the services we undertake on your behalf will not only protect your staff and other agencies in your employ but also assist you in meeting both the moral and legal responsibility to protect those individuals directly and indirectly undertaking work on your behalf.
